These are my personal pricing formulas that I have landed on after much trial and error. These should give you margin AND they have some extra padding to cover shipping which is a constant struggle!

Remember, you can always price your items even higher than these calculators recommend, this is just a bare minimum recommendation for you to have more margin in your business.

Printed Mint

This POD site integrates well with Shopify and Etsy, and what I LOVE about it is their custom branding options that really make your products shine. The deluxe packaging is an added expense and isn't necessary, but I think it makes a difference.

Printful

Printful is by far the easiest to start using, their integration is quick and easy! They are constantly adding new products and they have quick turnaround. They recently changed to a subscription model to get the best prices, but this expense is waived if you're doing high enough volume.

    I didn't start out on shopify, I grew into it once I was confident in bringing my own traffic to it and had an audience started.

    I started on Etsy and am SO glad because it is a platform with an existing audience and can bring customers to you! If I was starting over again I would still start on Etsy!

    Spoonflower is a great platform for specifically pattern designers wanting to serve the crafting industry. It also offers wallpaper and other home decor items with your custom designs.

    This platform is NOT user friendly, however it obviously has a HUGE audience that is worth tapping into when you're ready!
